India's next cricket coach is expected to be announced soon. Graham Ford and John Emburey are said to be the two people in contention for the post. The person with the job would have to face the hopes and expectations of thousands of people after the shocking exit of the team in the first round of the Cricket World Cup.
Indian Hockey on a comeback!!
Indian Hockey had come to the lower side in the past few weeks after a shocking defeat to China in the Doha Asian Games. It had been in the receiving end of criticisms from its fans. But it may well be on a comeback trail after a young Indian squad managed a bronze at the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup. The comeback of Sandeep Singh in the side will be a boost to the side. Plenty of hopes are on the team as they compete in the Champions Challenge (June 23-July 1) in Belgium.
